Colleen Running for Headway North London

We are proud to have Colleen running for us at The London Marathon on Sunday and are delighted that she has included Headway North London as one of her chosen charities.

The picture above was taken last year and we look forward to being able to post another medal winner photo after the race on Sunday!

Hello Headway supporters!

I'm running the London Marathon on 21 April on behalf of three charities*, one of them being Headway North London.

As you know, Headway helps brain injury survivors and families and makes the world a better place. I know from personal experience.

Monthly Meeting updates

Thanks to all who attended the March meeting on volunteering. At the meeting we heard from Keiron Lowe of Attend on the benefits of volunteering, how to build skills and discover new talents. It was great too to see the lively discussion afterwards about the many aspects of volunteering after a brain injury.

It's all a big drama! 

This month Estelle Buckeridge, a drama and creative workshop leader working with brain injury survivors, will give us a taster evening on the benefits of using drama to build confidence and communication skills. The evening promises to be great fun and we promise you'll feel inspired.

Everyone's welcome so feel free to join us and why not bring family and friends too, we hope to see you there.
